KY NSF EPSCoR Final/Annual Reporting Requirements
Please note that all KY NSF EPSCoR funding awardees are required to provide annual/final reporting on their project's progress. This reporting must be submitted electronically within 90 days after the end of the project for "final" reports, and 90 days prior to the renewable period for continuing awards. All entries must be submitted using the Statewide EPSCoR Reporting System (http://kyepscor.kstc.com/kyepscor18/login_form.cfm). Usernames, passwords, and detailed reporting instructions are emailed to the awardees after their awards are established in the statewide reporting system (by the KY NSF EPSCoR Office).
The reporting system requests the following information:
- The demographic information of the project participants and collaborators
- An itemization of any follow-on funding received as an extension of the EPSCoR award
- An itemization of any publications, presentations, IP, or jobs created/generated by the award
- A listing of any pieces of equipment purchased with the grant funds (these must be in the approved budget)
- Finally, a narrative response to the following questions is required:
- Outline the research and education activities you originally proposed for this project. Did they change during the project? If so, how and why?
- What were the major findings and outcomes that resulted from undertaking these activities?
- Describe any additional outreach activities as well as other training and development opportunities provided by the project.
- How has this project increased your ability to compete for Federal research funding (if applicable, also your research team members, institution, etc.)?
- What metrics did you originally envision using to evaluate the successfulness of this project? Considering these, how successful has the project been?
- Improving the opportunities for all people, particularly those traditionally underrepresented in the sciences (e.g., racial/ethnic minorities, socioeconomic minorities, 1st generation college/university students, the disabled) is very important to the KY NSF EPSCoR program. What have you done via your project to improve the opportunities for the underrepresented?
- Describe any additional unique contributions, major accomplishments, or innovations and successes related to your project (not already addressed).
