Ever heard of E-health or Smart Grids? What distance learning and education opportunities are available to Kentuckians and what will they look like in the future? Technology is changing our lives, jobs, relationships and economies. KY NSF EPSCoR is sponsoring a workshop as part of a National Science Foundation (NSF) request to shape a forward-looking plan for the state's “cyberinfrastructure” future. A well thought out plan will help to position KY in its bid for anticipated federal funding. Kentucky government officials, university administrators, researchers, and business leaders will want to attend, learn and help develop Kentucky's Cyberinfrastructure Plan for NSF. Attendance is free and open to all but space is limited, so please register soon for this important event.
